Phishing emails have been on the rise and attempts have been made to request payment with fraudulent bank information. These individuals are falsely presenting themselves as our employees or representatives. Under this false pretence, they might have you send your payment to an illegitimate bank source. These claims are fraudulent and invalid and you are strongly advised to exercise great caution when you receive such notice. Be very mindful of such scams. Always verify by calling your account manager. Our bank details are always updated on invoices.
Examine the email address. In most cases, perpetrators may misspell an official Hana email address and use a slightly modified version that can be easily overlooked.
