Forms, Rules and Regulations

A shipping power of attorney (POA) is a legal document that grants freight forwarders or customs brokers the authority to act on the behalf of you or your business in shipping related matters. This allows the authorized shipping agent to complete any documentation necessary to file and clear goods through customs. Without a POA in our hand, the client is responsible for their own import or export clearance documentation, filings, inspections, and potential complications that may arise. This is a general procedure required by law to file and clear customs on client's behalf.

The ISF (10+2) is a documentation that is required by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for all U.S. bound ocean cargo shipments. ISF must be filed at least 24 hours before cargo departs for the United States and completed no later than 24 hours prior to its arrival. Failure to submit ISF on time can result in non-compliance penalty up to $5,000 per violation. Additionally, their shipment may be subject to inspections, and cargo delays.

Currently eligible for active customers only. Must have prior shipping history and good standing with Hana Freight LLC. and Hana Group LLC. Minimum annual freight load required.
